Vans takes court-ready style to the streets with Penn collaboration

Sports footwear and apparel brand teams with tennis ball manufacturer on new partnership.

Vans has joined forces with tennis ball manufacturer, Penn, for its latest brand collaboration.

The collection brings a dose of tennis court prep to Vans’ historic prints and branding elements, while also maintaining the streetwear aesthetic the brand is known for.

The three shoe collection features classic Vans silhouettes, with the Penn Lowland CC leading the pack featuring a 1990s’ skate-inspired silhouette, throwback ‘Flying V’ Vans logo and Penn-themed lace charms.

Vans’ first ever shoe style, the Authentic, gets the 1960s’ treatment with vintage-inspired sidewall illustrations of tennis players on the court. Meanwhile, Vans’ popular Slip On meets Penn’s signature yellow and orange colourway.

On top of this, the apparel offer include a long-sleeve white and navy ringer tee with a vintage-inspired tennis player graphic on the chest and Van’s signature checkerboard down the sleeves. There is also a coordinating bucket hat, plus a Vans x Penn short and half-zip jacket, logo tee and polo shirt.

“We are excited to collaborate with Vans on this capsule collection,” shared Giuseppe Faranna, vp, division manager licensing at HEAD Sport GmbH. “As both companies started as rubber companies and are now synonymous as leaders in their own in their respective industries.”
