Brand Licensing Europe opens its doors

This year’s show gets underway with its biggest ever character parade.

Brand Licensing Europe opened its doors this morning, with UBM Advanstar confident of another successful show.

The three-day event gets underway with its biggest ever character parade, which features over 80 licensed characters. These include the likes of Peppa Pig, Miffy, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dennis the Menace and Care Bears.

New faces joining the line-up will include Boofle, Chase and Marshall from Paw Patrol, LEGO Scooby and Shaggy, Danger Mouse, Boj, Bing, Twirlywoos and the new-look Bob the Builder to name just a few.

Another highlight of the first day will be the keynote address from fitness entrepreneur and YouTube star, Cassey Ho.

Cassey will be discussing building a brand on YouTube and following this up with an effective licensing programme at 12.30pm in the Licensing Academy.

“This is the first time we have focused on a YouTube celebrity at BLE, and the session will provide a fascinating insight into how brands can leverage the digital landscape,” said Darren Brechin, BLE event director.

You can follow @licensingsource for updates from BLE throughout the three days.
