Cracking promotions campaign? Enter it for The Licensing Awards 2020 now

Entry deadline for Best Licensed Promotions Campaign in this year’s awards is Friday August 14.

Have you been involved with a fantastic promotions campaign over the past 12 months?

Yes, you say? Well, now’s your chance to make sure it receives the recognition it deserves by entering it for the Best Licensed Promotions Campaign in The Licensing Awards 2020 by clicking here.

The final entry deadline is Friday, August 14, so you still have time, but make sure you read the details below first.

The award – which is sponsored by Brand Licensing Europe (which this year is part of the Festival of Licensing, running from October 6-29) – will be presented to the most creative and effective use of a licence in the promotion of another brand or service.

The campaign can cover any kind of promotional communication including TV advertising, poster campaign, on-pack promotion or sponsorship for any product or service related to a brand other than the licensed property itself. It can cover the promotion of a charity.

To qualify for inclusion the licence involved must be promoting the use of another product or service. Campaigns that promoted a range of licensed goods within a retail outlet should be entered into the Retail awards section.

The campaign must have appeared in the UK market during the period April 1, 2019 to May 31, 2020. It could have been part of a broader European campaign, but it is the execution in the UK market that is judged.

The deadline for entering the other categories in The Licensing Awards 2020 – including Product, Property and Retail – is also Friday August 14. Entry for all categories can be done online and is easy and free to do. Simply click here.

The finalists of The Licensing Awards will be announced later in the summer.

Government guidelines permitting, the winners will be unveiled at an evening extravaganza event held in The Great Room at The Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday December 16. However, alternative plans are also being worked on to honour the winners should the physical event be unable to take place.

Tickets and tables can be reserved quickly and securely online by visiting Max-Tickets.net or by contacting Clare Hollick of Create Events: clare@createvents.co.uk or phone +44 (0)1183 340085.
