Alpha Animation & Toys hires agent to represent preschool brand in all categories.
Rockpool Licensing – the agency headed up by Vickie O’Malley – is to handle the licensing for Alpha Animation’s fast growing preschool brand, Super Wings.
The property – which launched in the UK back in February on Cartoonito – has already enjoyed success in the US and Europe, and both Rockpool and Alpha are confident of replicating this in the UK.
The series revolves around Jett, a jet plane, which travels round the world experiencing different cultures while delivering packages to children. The storyline encourages children to learn about friendship, develop problem solving skills and introduces them to different parts of the world.
“I’m thrilled to be working with the Alpha team,” said Vickie O’Malley, md at Rockpool Licensing. “As my Godson Rufus can attest, Super Wings is a fabulous show, filled with great characters and exciting worldwide adventures, not to mention a rockin’ theme tune.
