Talking Tom reaches 4.5 billion downloads

Outfit7 brand becomes one of the most downloaded app franchises worldwide.

Outfit7’s Talking Tom franchise has notched up 4.5 billion downloads – making it one of the most downloaded app franchises worldwide.

The brand has celebrated the milestone with the launch of a new app – Talking Tom Gold Run, which is free to download on all major platforms with the option for in-app purchases.

Talking Tom Gold Run begins with a robbery, causing the player to run as fast as possible to retrieve the fallen gold bars, dodge obstacles and collect rewards.

“With so many different elements used within this game, several player emotions are evoked including courage, independence, self-realisation and motivation,” said Samo Login, founder and ceo of Outfit7.

In addition to its 4.5 billion downloads, the Talking Tom franchise has also amassed over 5.7 billion views of its various branded content on YouTube.

Talking Tom: The Animated Series – currently in its first season – also attracts over 760 million views on YouTube and the YouTube Kids app.
