‘Phenomenal response’ to The Light Fund English Channel Relay silent auction

The Light Fund English Channel Relay silent auction has received a “phenomenal response” since going live earlier this week (16 May) – and with the dedicated website open until 3 June, there is still time to place your bids.

So far, £2,725 has been raised, with lots including a Battle Spec Stormtrooper suit and helmet; a No Time to Die Safin movie mask; a movie car thrill with high speed ride; a Morgan cars tour and car hire; a spa day for two at Nirvana Spa; and a signed Liverpool FC shirt creating particular interest among bidders.

Other lots include a Manchester United shirt signed by Marcus Rashford, a course in brewing beer, golfing experiences, family fun days including a trip to Peppa Pig World and even swimming lessons at Taplow Lake from English Channel Relay team member, Stephen Gould.

“We have seen a phenomenal response from the licensing industry in supporting The Light Fund’s English Channel Relay Swim Silent Auction,” commented team member, Tasmyn Knight. “There is everything from lifestyle experiences through to one of a kind memorabilia, so a huge thank you to all partners, licensees and retailers who have so willingly supported this fundraising initiative.

“Please go online to review the auction lots catalogue, place your bets with your industry peers and walk away with some awesome prizes in the satisfying knowledge that all the proceeds will be going towards our £250k fundraising goal for The Light Fund.”
