Company will publish The Art of Aardman as part of 40th anniversary celebrations.

Simon & Schuster UK is to publish an ‘essential guide’ to Aardman Animations as part of the studio’s 40th birthday celebrations.

Arriving in September, the book will take readers on a tour through Aardman’s archives.

The Art of Aardman will also include forewords from founders Peter Lord and David Sproxton, as well as extracts from the sketchbooks of creators and directors including Nick Park, Richard Starzak and Peter Lord.
