Industry turns out to honour Danilo’s Trevor Jones

Character Exchange holds ‘semi-retirement’ event for Danilo’s popular licensing director.

Trevor Jones’ working life – so far – in licensing was celebrated last week at a special event organised by the Character Exchange.

Danilo’s licensing director – and chairman of licensee collective the Character Exchange and The Light Fund – announced his semi-retirement earlier this year.

Executives from several big name licensors and licensees gathered at London’s Vanilla venue last Thursday (October 20) to mark Trevor’s achievements in the world of licensing.

Speeches were given by Martin Lowe, md of Roy Lowe & Sons; Ian Downes, md of Start Licensing; and Richard Hollis, head of international consumer products UK at DreamWorks.

The latter was in keeping with Danilo’s greeting cards theme, with Richard having written a poem about Trevor for the occasion.
