eBay frenzy sparked by Primark’s Chip purse

£4 purse of Beauty and the Beast character sells out across the country.

A £4 Beauty and the Beast-themed purse from Primark has caused an eBay frenzy after selling out across the country.

The purse – shaped like the teacup Chip – is now changing hands for up to seven times the original price on eBay.

According to The Metro, Chips are currently being sold for up to £27. One account – which is selling the purse for £19.99 – has already sold 56 of them, and another apparently has 15 bids on a £13.50 purse.

Social media is also awash for lucky Disney fans – children and adults – who have managed to get their hands on a purse.
