Egmont unveils Mr Men Little Miss for Grown-Ups

Four parody titles targeted at adult gifting market to launch in November.

Egmont Publishing has unveiled a new Mr Men and Little Miss for Grown-Ups series.

Four parody titles – targeting the adult gifting market – will launch in November: Little Miss Shy Goes Online Dating, Mr Greedy Eats Clean to Get Lean, Mr Happy and the Office Party and Little Miss Busy Surviving Motherhood.

The official books have been created in partnership with the Hargreaves estate and Mr Men Little Miss brand owner, Sanrio.

The books feature original Roger Hargreaves classic artwork alongside funny new text, written by Sarah Daykin, Lizzie Daykin and Liz Bankes.

A marketing and PR campaign will kick off in the autumn to support the launch.

John Packard, publishing director for brands and licensing at Egmont Publishing, said: ‘We are absolutely delighted to be publishing our new official series of Mr Men Little Miss titles for this Christmas, bringing these much-loved characters to an older audience as they brave the adult world.”
