Sky Kids app gets brand new games section

Characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Peppa Pig and Ben 10 all featured.

A host of new games featuring a range of licensed characters have landed on the Sky Kids app.

Free to Sky customers, the app includes over 4,500 episodes of Sky original productions, shows from Boomerang, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Nicktoons, Nick Jr and Baby TV, as well as YouTube hits such as Little Baby Bum.

Characters including SpongeBob Squarepants, Peppa Pig and Ben 10 are now available, while new games are also on the way from the likes of The Amazing World of Gumball, Scooby-Doo and Adventure Time.

A range of games featuring the Sky Buddies, characters which live on the app and allow parents to create personalised, age tailored profiles for their kids, will also be included.

Some of the new licensed games include:

  • SpongeBob Chess from Nicktoons
  • Peppa Pig Memory Game from Nick Jr
  • Bubble Guppies Popathon from Nick Jr
  • Tulli Missing Shapes from Baby TV
  • Henry Danger Target Practice from Nickelodeon
  • Ben 10 Diamondhead Shoot from Cartoon Network
  • The Loud House Food Fight from Nickelodeon

 

Lucy Murphy, head of kids content at Sky, said: “Children and parents have been loving the Sky Kids app, with over half a million registering to use it since it launched last year.

“It’s a great way to keep kids entertained, and now with new games to play and more being added every month, they have another fun way to dive into the worlds of their favourite characters. And as mums and dads know that it’s a safe and secure environment, everyone’s happy.”
