X Factor Bratz dolls are social media hit

Turning The X Factor judges into Bratz dolls has proved a success for MGA Entertainment, with the initiative generating strong social media and national press coverage in the lead up to this weekend’s final.

Activity launched at the end of October, to tie in with the first live shows of the 2015 series.

In total, the activity reached over 259 million across digital and print channels.

Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez Versini, Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw were transformed into Bratz dolls, each matching their own unique style.

For example, Simon’s doll was dressed in his trademark open white shirt, while Grimmy wore one of his own Topman creations.

Rita’s Bratz doll was rocking a Tom Ford-inspired dress, while Cheryl’s was sophisticated monochrome glamour.

The dolls were posed in a X Factor style set and sent out through picture press channels.

Nick was a particular fan, retweeting his and Rita’s dolls and stating ‘I want one of these’ on his Radio 1 Twitter feed, which has 1.92 million followers.
