PUMA links into place with Tetris

New collaboration will grow Tetris’ lifestyle product offer as it marks 35th anniversary.

PUMA is continuing to team up with licensed brands – revealing a new partnership with video games property, Tetris.

The collaboration will see PUMA’s latest RS silhouette designed with Tetris – which is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year – as inspiration.

Fittingly, both brands introduced products in the 1980s that are now considered to be cultural icons.

Originally designed and programmed in 1984 by Russian game designer Alexey Pajitnov, Tetris launched on the Nintendo Game Boy in 1989. Meanwhile, the RS (Running System) trainer originated in 1986.

The collaboration also gives Tetris the chance to expand its lifestyle brand product offer.

The PUMA x Tetris RS iteration will launch worldwide in October.
