Paladone extends Breakdown Plastic to more products

Latest lines cover wide range of licences and product categories like keychains and snow globes.

Paladone is marking the United Nations’ World Environment Day (June 5) by extending Breakdown Plastic to 250 more products.

Paladone was the first company in the world to bring BDP – which is naturally decomposing plastic – to the global gift trade in a range of 5x eggs cups last year.

It will now be including the BDP material in a further 257 products. These will cover a wide range of licences – such as Harry Potter, Toy Story, Frozen and Avengers: Endgame to name a few – and product categories such as torches, lights, keychains, snow globes and money boxes.

BDP product will be marked with the BDP logo on the packaging, while new informative assets are being created for retailers to help explain BDP.

Further BDP test results since launch have been impressive, according to Paladone, with visible biodegradation in 45 days.
