Our best wishes to all during this tough time

The Licensing Source Book, LicensingSource.net and The Licensing Awards team extends its well wishes and assurance to our friends and partners.

Dear Licensing Friends and Colleagues,

As the central media to the licensing sector, we would like to offer you our assurance and indeed our best wishes during what will be a difficult, uncertain couple of months.

The Licensing Source Book, LicensingSource.net, Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards and The Licensing Awards are the industry’s resource for sharing information and celebrating success. Now, more than ever, this remains vital.

Our following of retail buyers really do rely on us to keep them up to date with trends, products, analysis and insights. Licensors and licensees rely on us, and indeed other media outlets, to deliver it for them. This will absolutely not change – in fact across our wide range of specialist print titles we have seen a spike in subscription requests and an increase in open rates across our digital news websites in the last week.

And so our message to you is this: We’re here, we’re here to stay, and we are here for you. We all hope that this is a short-term problem and while it will of course affect us all to some degree, by continuing to work together, sharing information, planning ahead and being present we can limit the degree to which we are all affected.

It is crucial that we continue to support each other. We can confirm that there will be no interruption to our print and digital offerings – retailers will still receive our magazines and read our digital news. We really do look forward to seeing you soon whether it be at Licensing Expo in August, or for what will now be the party of all parties at The Licensing Awards later this year. The show(s) will go on and we’ll all prosper and celebrate our businesses and our friendships once again.

Work has begun on the summer 2020 edition of Licensing Source Book – which will publish in July – and planning continues for the Sustainability in Licensing Conference and the B&LLAs 2020.

As the central source of information to the licensing sector we are working to highlight your messages. Our marketing team has increased activity to ensure the best possible spread of magazine readership and digital news following, as well as making the most of our social media channels. This pool of readers across our group is 87,743. Send us your news, send us your views, call for a chat. We are here. We will help.

Max Publishing extends its very best wishes to all those who are affected either directly or indirectly by Covid-19. We remain positive and focused on ‘the other side’ and have high hopes for a return of great consumer confidence, a renewed affection for the high street and a summer of real celebration.

Keep on keeping on.

Ian Hyder, Jakki Brown, Rob Willis, Samantha Loveday and all the Licensing Source Book/LicensingSource.net team.
