Winners revealed for Licensing International Asian Awards 2020

This year’s awards were held virtually, featuring 64 nominees across 13 categories.

The winners of the Licensing International Asian Awards 2020 have been revealed.

This year’s awards – which usually take place during Hong Kong International Licensing Show – were celebrated virtually and featured 64 nominees across 13 categories. They were judged by a panel of Asian licensing experts from all areas of the industry, followed by voting from the licensing community.

The winners of Licensing International Asian Awards 2020 are:

Asian Property of the Year – B.Duck (Semk Products)

Corporate Brand/Lifestyle Property of the Year – Mickey Mouse (Year of the Mouse, The Walt Disney Company China)

Digital Property of the Year – Honor of Kings (Tencent)

Entertainment Property of the Year, Animated – Frozen 2 (The Walt Disney Company)

Entertainment Property of the Year, Live Action – Street Dance of China (Alibaba Culture & Entertainment Group)

The Newcomer Award – Donglaiye (Shanghai Donglaiye Brand Management)

Licensed Promotion of the Year – Jingdong World Museum Super IP Day (The Metropolitan Museum of Art, National Gallery, Victoria & Albert Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston / JD.com)

Location-based or Experiential Initiative of the Year – Yu Garden Mickey Lantern Festival (The Walt Disney Company China/Shanghai Yu Garden Huadeng Culture & Creative Group)

Retailer of the Year – Fujian Lixun Group (for B.Duck)

Licensee of the Year: Apparel/Footwear/Accessories – Chow Tai Fook Jewellery (for LINE FRIENDS)

Licensee of the Year: FMCG – Procter & Gamble (for Mickey Mouse, Year of the Mouse/SK-II Facial Treatment Essence Celebrating Disney’s Mickey Year of the Mouse)

Licensee of the Year: Housewares/Novelties – Razer (for Doraemon /Doraemon 50th anniversary limited series)

Licensee of the Year: Toys – Guangdong Qman Toys Industry (for Pokémon/Qman Keeppley Pokémon Series)
