The Museum of Brands is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Mr Men Little Miss with a special discovery trail and children’s make-and-take creative activities from 23 July. In addition, visitors will also have the chance to see original sketches by Adam Hargreaves, the Royal Mint commemorative coin collection and limited edition Mr Men Little Miss Royal Mail postage stamps.

Sagoo has appointed UK-based licensing sales partnership KJG’s Kirsty Guthrie and BlueSkye Licensing’s Maggy Harris to manage UK licensing activity for its Kawaii brand, Rilakkuma. With carefully selected retail launches planned from late summer, the duo will work closely with Sagoo to manage, expand and diversify the merchandise programme. Ranges are due to launch from Blueprint (stationery), Hype (greeting cards) and Difuzed (apparel and accessories) in spring 2022.

KISS and its global licensing agent, Epic Rights, is ramping up its monster merchandise machine as the band gets ready to head back out on the End of the Road World Tour. New deals in North America include Dead Sled Coffee (pre-packaged coffee); Robert Graham (fashion and accessories); Lauren Moshi (high-end apparel); and Ugly Christmas Sweater (seasonal apparel). Meanwhile, international deals include Brands for Fans (gin and dark rum, UK, Europe, Japan and Australia); Metal Departments (real money gambling, worldwide); Fexpro (apparel and accessories, Mexico, Central and South America); Konnekt (apparel and accessories, Japan); and EastPak (bags, backpacks and accessories, US, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Canada).

Immediate Media will launch the Bluey Magazine from 4 August. The title will include a host of different ways for young readers to explore activities independently, with each issue coming with a sticker sheet. The first issue includes a collectable ‘paint your own figurines’ set so fans can create their own Bluey and Bingo.

Bits + Pixels Agency has been named as the EMEA licensing representative for Tasty Peach Studios by Dimensional Branding Group. The brand’s licensing programme already includes partnerships with Aurora, Funko, Goodie Two Sleeves and Bare Tree Media among others.

Meanwhile, Bits + Pixels has also unveiled its revamped website. The new site reflects the company’s evolution since it was originally founded by Su-Yina Farmer and Sandra Arcan in 2016. The agency now works with clients both in the games industry and on the periphery of it, whether that be fashion, telecoms, fast food or tech, explained Su-Yina.

Sesame Workshop has named Medialink Group as its licensing agent for the Greater China region including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. The company will manage the brand licensing of Sesame Street’s consumer products, build retail relationships and work with local licensees to create cross-promotional activations in the respective territories.

Licensing International has named its six Rising Star award recipients for 2021. They are: James Choi, senior associate, Ellalan (Hong Kong); Addie Dorsey Goossens, licensing manager EMEA, Ubisoft (France); Rachel Hak, category manager apparel/accessories/health and beauty, Crayola (US); Kevin Ramsey, founder and ceo, Warren James (US); Jyoti Sardana, manager of licensing strategy and operations, OneTeam Partners (US); and Carolina Verdugo, director of brand management, Beanstalk (US).

Jazwares has debuted its exclusive toy line for Boat Rocker Studios’ Dino Ranch animation. The range for the preschool show will include plush, assorted figures, feature vehicles and play-sets.
