Zavvi launches exclusive LEGO Ideas Home Alone set

Zavvi has launched an exclusive Home Alone build from LEGO Ideas, with the retailer already predicting that it will be a sell out.

The set – which is currently sold out on LEGO’s site – features a buildable model of the McCallisters’ house for play and display. It is comprised of 3,955 pieces and five LEGO minifigures, making it the biggest LEGO Ideas set to date.

Alongside figures of Kevin, Kate, Mary, Harry and ‘Old Man’ Marley, there is also the iconic Oh-Kay van and a few surprise booby traps including swinging paint cans and a zip line.

As part of LEGO’s adult-focused collectable range, the set – which is priced at £219.99 – is packed with details to recreate Kevin’s battle with the Wet Bandits, from the attic to the basement. Arriving to fans as 24 individual bags of bricks, the build sequence follows the film’s plot so fans can relive the movie as they build.
