Cadbury unveils special Help for Heroes tin

Limited edition Heroes assortment launches in Tesco stores from this month.

Help for Heroes has teamed with Cadbury for the launch of a special Heroes Limited Edition Tin, exclusive to Tesco.

The one-kilogram tin, with its special drum design, will include Help for Heroes logos on the lid and side. This also marks the first time Cadbury has re-introduced a traditional tin since moving all of its assortments to tubs.

The Cadbury Heroes Limited Edition tin has launched in Tesco stores across the UK and is priced at £12.50; 65p of each tin sold will be donated to Help for Heroes. The Cadbury Heroes Limited Edition tin is expected to raise over £100,000 for Help for Heroes.

There will also be prominent front-of-store displays of the Heroes tin in 200 Tesco stores over the weekend of October 14-15, when Help for Heroes is holding a National Collection Weekend at Tesco stores across the country to celebrate its tenth birthday.

Colin Luther-Davies, account manager, brand partnerships, Help for Heroes, said: “At a time of year when not only is footfall high in supermarkets but purchases of confectionery are probably at their highest, we’re thrilled to be partnering with Cadbury and Tesco on this promotion.

“The Heroes assortment in particular is an established favourite – but this year it will also raise much-needed funds to support its work.”

Declan Duggan, senior brand manager at Cadbury Mondelez, added: “We’re delighted to be able to build on the popularity of one of our best-known assortments to support a truly worthy cause.

“Consumers who choose the Cadbury Heroes Limited Edition tin will not only enjoy miniature bites of their favourite Cadbury treats. They will be helping to fund and boost awareness of the valuable work that Help for Heroes does.”
