Second annual event will take place during Licensing Expo next month.
Licensing Expo will play host to the second annual Digital Media Licensing Summit next month.
The day-long schedule of seminars will run on June 20 from 11.45am at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
The sessions – which will take an in-depth look at online content creators and how they are leveraging their success on platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo and Vine – are designed to help licensors, licensees and retailers navigate the emerging opportunities.
The summit is part of the LIMA-hosted Licensing University and is free to attend for all exhibitor and attendee badge holders.
Jessica Blue, svp, licensing, UBM, said: “Last year, the Digital Media Licensing Summit focused on the ‘why’ – why is this important to the licensing industry?
“Now we are focusing on the ‘how’ – how can the licensing industry leverage this opportunity in the brand extension space?”
Charles Riotto, president of LIMA, added: “Licensing University sessions engage hot topics at a micro level; the Digital Media Licensing Summit takes this one step further with a full day specifically focused on digital’s increasingly important role in brand expansion and content creation.”
Licensing Expo runs from June 21-23. To find out further details on the Digital Media Licensing Summit and The Licensing University, simply click on this link.
