Gousto teams with Bluey to elevate ‘Steal the Show’ campaign

Recipe box specialist, Gousto has secured a new partnership with BBC Studios and Bluey, helping to support its ongoing ‘Steal the Show’ brand campaign.

The partnership was devised by Gousto’s in-house brand and creative teams with BBC Studios and Ludo Studio, with supporting media by the7stars and PR by Manifest London. It continues to put a focus on its recipes at the forefront of the evening’s entertainment – this time with an emphasis on families.

Inspired by the preschool character and her family’s adventures, Gousto has introduced a new recipe range crafted for easy to make, family style meals. The selection features dishes ranging from margarita pizza through to aromatic king prawn curry, while all of the recipe card artwork has been designed by Ludo Studio artists especially for Gousto.

Launching with a digital-first campaign, families are invited to a dinner with Gousto and Bluey through engaging social content on Meta, TikTok and sponsorship on YouTube via Connected TV. Merging real-world gastronomic marvels with Bluey’s magic, the creative seamlessly blends the culinary wonders of the kitchen with Bluey’s mealtime moments. The goal is to unite households across the UK, transforming ordinary mealtimes into family adventures, inspired by Bluey.

A supporting PR campaign features Gousto ambassador and comedian, Katherine Ryan, plus some of the UK’s key parenting influencers. It features children sharing honest reviews of the new Bluey’s Family Dinner recipes.

“We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Bluey, bringing families a delightful selection of Bluey inspired dishes to cook at home,” commented Anna Greene, vp brand, insights and strategy at Gousto. “Whether your little ones are hankering for something extra cheesy, a little bit spicy, or you’re aiming to sneak in a few more veggies, we’re serving up family-friendly dishes that even the Heelers would enjoy. With an unrivalled selection of over 250 recipes to choose from every week, we cater to all household tastes and sizes.”

Nardis Roscoe, head of marketing, consumer products and licensing at BBC Studios, continued: “We are so pleased to see our dynamic collaboration with Gousto come to fruition. Bluey brings families together like few other shows and now the same magic will create memorable mealtimes for the whole family, all inspired by the heart-warming adventures of Bluey and her family.”
