Licensed finalists named for The Henries

Winners will be named at a Bollywood-themed ball on Thursday October 6.

The finalists of The Henries – the annual awards for the greeting card industry – have been revealed, with six companies in the running for Best Licensed Card Range.

Over 40 top greeting card retailer buyers gave careful consideration to over 14,000 greeting card and wrap designs to arrive at the finalists for the 19 different categories in The Henries 2016 greeting card awards.

The finalists for Best Licensed Card Range are:

  • Disney Originals from UK Greetings
  • Happy Jackson from Pigment
  • Off The Leash from Cardmix
  • PAW Patrol from Danilo
  • Quentin Blake from Woodmansterne
  • Star Wars: The Force Awakens from Hallmark

“The Henries are the ultimate accolades for the UK greeting card industry. Their stature relies on high quality entries and a judging panel and process with total integrity,” said Jakki Brown, editor of Progressive Greetings, which organises and owns The Henries.

This year’s Judging Panel comprised over 40 top retailers, including buyers from Paperchase, John Lewis, Scribbler, Waterstones, WH Smith, Tesco, Fenwick, Clintons, National Trust, Longacres Garden Centre, Funky Pigeon, Frosts, Moonpig as well as many leading independents.
