Including Cartoon Network revealing the first partners for The Powerpuff Girls.

Cartoon Network has revealed the first licensing partners for the revamped series of The Powerpuff Girls. The roll out will be kicked off by global toy partner Spin Master in spring 2017. Meanwhile, in the UK, the following licensees are all on board: Posh Paws, Blues Clothing, Forbidden Planet, BCI, William Lamb, Smith & Brooks, C&M Licensing, The Janger Limited, Drew Pearson International, Corsair, Blueprint Collections, Roy Lowe & Sons, Poplar Linens and JFS Manchester.

FieryLight has secured a deal with DHX Brands to create a Teletubbies live theatre tour. Kicking off in the UK and Ireland in 2017, the show will then travel to the US, Canada, Australia, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea and Thailand.

20th Century Fox Consumer Products has expanded the licensing programme for Family Guy. Zak UK is the latest partner to join the line-up as master gift licensee, while LF Beauty and Beacon Confectionery are also planning seasonal product. Pyramid and Danilo are on board in the stationery category, while Poetic Gem has expanded its underwear licence to become fashion daywear partner for the UK. Somerbond handles loungewear for the brand.

Meanwhile, 20th Century Fox Consumer Products has appointed Stories as its promotions agent for France.

A new live action/CG film based on the Peter Rabbit brand is being worked on, following on from a deal between Columbia Pictures and Frederick Warne. James Corden will voice Peter, while Rose Byrne will star in the female lead role of Bea. Daisy Ridley and Elizabeth Debicki have also joined the voice cast. Production is due to begin in January 2017, with worldwide release planned for April 2018.

Rocket Licensing has confirmed a raft of partners for Smurfs: Lost Village. The agency is representing the property on behalf of I.M.P.S in the UK and Eire. The newest additions to the programme include Aykroyds & TDP, Fashion UK, Inphase and PMS International. In addition, Rocket also represents the classic Smurfs brand in the UK, and has recently added Casa Chicos, Trademark and Somerbond to the programme. Jakks Pacific is the master toy partner, while Ferrero and McDonalds have been appointed for global promotional deals.

FremantleMedia Kids & Family is lining up a new range of products and live events for Rainbow. Casa Chicos will launch a babywear line in Mothercare in spring/summer 2017, while Blues will be producing Rainbow-themed clothing across baby, kids and adult. In addition, George and Zippy will be painting the streets of Leeds and Hull the Christmas, starring in two festive pantomimes.

VIZ Media has appointed Evolution USA as its North American licensing agent.

Titan Entertainment has expanded its Yellow Submarine product range. The collection is led by the vinyl collectable figures, and will be extended with the launch of t-shirts and drinkware based on the Titans figures. Caroline Mickler handles the licensing programme for the brand with Apple Corps.

K’Nex Brands is teaming with action sports property Nitro Circus for a new range of building sets. Due to launch in autumn 2017, the range is inspired by the Nitro Circus live show.

eOne has added further partners to the PJ Masks licensing programme in the US. Happy Threads, Accessory Innovations, AME, Disguise, Amscan, Crayola, Cra-Z-Art, Jakks Pacific, Phoenix International and Sky-high International are all on board.

DHX Media has secured a deal with Amazon Prime Video for a number of its properties. Amazon Prime Video in the UK has licensed a number of titles, including season one of each of the new Teletubbies, Messy Goes to Okido and Looped; seasons one and two of Hank Zipper; season three of In the Night Garden; and seasons four and five of Caillou.

iLike Media has partnered with TLP to represent Tiana, the star of YouTube channel, Toys And Me. The company is now looking to transfer the success Tiana has enjoyed on-screen into consumer products.

The Wish Factory is introducing a new line of Kawaii cubes featuring Nickelodeon properties. The new range will include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob Squarepants, Hey Arnold, Rocco’s Modern Life, Rugrats and The Ren & Stimpy Show.
