Bridgeman Images is celebrating after being appointed as the British Library’s exclusive UK image licensing partner.

The company now has over 50,000 images from the British Library ready to be licensed.

It will also be working with the Library to explore and grow the image collection year on year.

The images represent every aspect of the collections of the British Library and can be licensed for commercial and editorial uses.

Branded products and scholarly licensing will remain with the British Library.

Bridgeman Images has been one of the world’s leading distributors of fine art, cultural and historical media for production over 44 years.
