LMI seeking subjects for Royal Armouries push

Board games, figurines, dress-up, play-sets, publishing among categories in development.

LMI is looking to attract loyal subjects to boost the worldwide licensing programme for Royal Armouries.

Board games, figurines, dress-up kits, play-sets, medallions, gift sets and publishing are already in development, with LMI looking to grow this even further.

All Royal Armouries licensed merchandise qualifies for a Certificate of Authenticity documenting that this is the oldest collection of arms and armour in the world.

The Royal Armouries houses its world class collection of arms and armour at its three sites: The Tower of London, which receives 2.5 million visitors a year, the National Museum of Arms & Armour in Leeds and Fort Nelson Portsmouth.

Dating back to the Middle Ages, the core collection includes actual suits of armour and weapons used by the Kings of England, from Henry VIII to James II.

With the popularity of epic fantasy series Game of Thrones and recent interest in historic period entertainment such as The Tudors, The White Queen, Wolf Hall, it seems that the notable real life characters of these world famous Kings and Queens are resonating with manufacturers and consumers alike.
