Super Geek Heroes makes in-roads into India

Edutainment Licensing secures two new deals for property in territory.

The Super Geek Heroes brand is continuing to expand globally, with Edutainment Licensing securing two new deals in India.

First up, the brand is partnering with edutainment platform Lattu Kids in India and South East Asia, which will be dubbing the series into Hindi.

Lattu Kids’ founder and ceo, Vivek Bhutyani, commented: “I have been passionate about kids’ content as I have a five year old son and, while watching the various content available for kids these days, it made me realise that there’s hardly any content which imparts values to kids.

“Seeing the gap, I decided to venture into the kids segment as this space has a lot of things which can be explored.”

Meanwhile, Primary Plus Media has been secured to create activity-based magazines for Super Geek Heroes throughout the territory.

Super Geek Heroes activity pages and stories will appear in fortnightly issues of the Little Primary Plus Magazine produced for pre-nursery and nursery aged children with activities to help teach the alphabet and numbers.

Activities including stories, puzzles and number games will also appear in the fortnightly Primary Plus Turtle title which is produced for Prep/UKG & 1 children.

The magazines are distributed in over 2,000 schools in India and they currently have in excess of one million subscribers.
