The Powerpuff Girls adds Daisy Street to collab roster

Fashion retailer launches retro-themed range of apparel featuring brand.

Fashion retailer Daisy Street has teamed up with Cartoon Network and The Powerpuff Girls for the launch of a new spring/summer collection.

The retro-themed range will include ‘must have’ Powerpuff staples including ath-leisure wear, graphic t-shirts and crop tops.

Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of The Powerpuff Girls, it also marks the first time that Daisy Street has partnered with a children’s entertainment brand on a fashion collaboration.

“When I was growing up I saw The Powerpuff Girls as a strong, independent girl squad,” said Chloe Lockley-Middleton, Britain’s Next Top Model finalist and face of the collaboration. “They are the original ambassadors of girl power and they inspired me to grow up thinking I can do anything a boy can do.

“I’m so excited to be a part of this collaboration; it brings a feeling of nostalgia and I love the fun, chic retro-vibe that runs across the collection.”

Leila Loumi, licensing director at CN Enterprises EMEA, added: “The Powerpuff Girls and Daisy Street is an exciting collaboration that celebrates girl power and self-expression.

“What’s more, as this year marks the 20th anniversary of The Powerpuff Girls, this range gives a nod to the 90s that we think our millennial audience will love, since they grew up with these strong female icons.”
