Harrods & Penguin Ventures team on The Snowman

Collaboration sees the launch of a bespoke gift range to mark 40th anniversary.

Penguin Ventures is continuing its relationship with Harrods, collaborating with the luxury retailer on a bespoke range of gifts in celebration of the 40th anniversary of The Snowman.

A bespoke piece of artwork featuring The Snowman and James flying over Harrods’ iconic Knightsbridge store and the London skyline has been created and applied to a range a gifts including tote bag, apron, tea tray, tea towel and mug.

The partnership follows the Peter Rabbit Movie consumer product range which Penguin Ventures developed with Harrods for the successful movie from Sony Pictures.

“We were thrilled to work with the team at Harrods once again to develop this very special anniversary range for The Snowman,” said Jen Greenway, category manager for softlines at Penguin Ventures. “These two iconic British brands have been brought together in an entirely unique way to form part of Harrods Christmas offering which we hope consumers will enjoy this winter.”

In addition, Penguin Ventures has also worked with Harrods on a range of Snowman infant and toddler apparel and nightwear; Christmas decorations and an exclusive Snowman plush.

The collaboration is part of Penguin Ventures’ wider anniversary plans for the Raymond Briggs picture book.
