Kate Humble cleans up with new product range

Eco-friendly household and pet grooming products expand TV presenter’s Humble brand.

Brands with Influence is continuing to develop the Kate Humble brand, with the existing range expanding to include cleaning products for the home and grooming products for pets.

The new products – under the Humble Home and Humble Pets brand names and developed by Assured Products – follow on from the success of Kate’s range of bath and beauty products, which launched in Waitrose two years ago.

Humble Home will see the launch of a range of cleaning products that are derived from natural ingredients, non-polluting, biodegradable and using packaging made from post consumer waste.

The Humble Pet range, meanwhile, will include Stain and Odour Removers, plus Animal Housing Cleaners that use naturally derived ingredients as well as Dog and Cat Shampoos that are free from SLS, Parabens, Silicone, Alcohol and Colourants.

“So many of the day to day products we use in our homes rely on polluting chemicals when they don’t have to,” Kate explained. “We all need effective cleaning products but they can be produced using ingredients that don’t have a negative impact on our environment.

“I’m delighted to be working with Assured Products to develop and produce a range of fantastic, effective cleaning products for the home and grooming products for our pets that are natural and non polluting, in packaging that is recycled and recyclable.”

Assured Products’ Peter Graham added: “Being aware of the environmental challenges our future generations face, and seeing Kate’s work and passion for improving the environment, it seemed logical to work together under the aptly named Humble brand to prove that great cleaning products using naturally sourced ingredients in already recycled packaging that is further recyclable can be offered to everyone.”

Brands with Influence will be showcasing the Kate Humble property on its stand at Brand Licensing Europe next week (F123).
