CPLG is further extending its international footprint, acquiring a 49% share in Russian agency Pullman Licensing. The two companies are expected to collaborate on the overall management and operations, with Pullman maintaining the existing staff in its Moscow office and looking to extend the existing portfolio of rights. Pullman’s current portfolio includes Nickelodeon, Paramount, ROI Visual and emoji across Russia, CIS and the Baltics.

Tough Mudder has secured a deal with online health and beauty retailer and brand owner, The Hut Group. The deal – brokered by Rockpool Licensing – will see THG develop a range of Tough Mudder branded adult apparel including t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies.

Aardman has signed a host of new deals for Shaun the Sheep and Wallace & Gromit. Aurora is to produce plush items for Shaun the Sheep (including the upcoming movie) with the deal spanning the UK, France and US among others. New UK licensees have also been signed through Start Licensing including Ideal Home Shopping, Teddy Mountain, Blackbird, Beams, Artland, Wentworth, Apteec and Jardinopia and Sigature Gifts. TDP and Dreamtex are also on board for nightwear and bedding.

The Point.1888 has joined forces with PowerStation Studios to boost its creative offering to clients.

Bear Grylls has partnered with Tobar to create a range of insect powder-based health bars. The deal was brokered by Beanstalk. The bars will launch later this year across Europe and will consist of high protein insect powder bars and energy insect powder bars which contain protein made with insect powder from buffalo worms.

Pokémon has collaborated with luxury Italian streetwear brand GCDS on a capsule collection in its spring/summer 2019 collection. Pikachu features on a range of urban apparel and accessories.

Betty Boop is to be featured on a new vintage inspired collaboration from Brazilian lingerie, loungewear and accessories retailer, Loungerie.
