LIMA names Asian Licensing Awards winners

Ceremony held on the opening night of the Hong Kong International Licensing Show.

LIMA has named the winners of this year’s Asian Licensing Awards.

The ceremony took place on the opening night of the Hong Kong International Licensing Show (January 7), presented by LIMA president, Maura Regan.

The winners are:

Asian Property of the Year

  • B.Duck – SEMK Products

 

Licensed Promotion of the Year

  • Pets Rock X Starbucks ‘Lets Rock’ (China and Taiwan) – Polyblank Designs/Starbucks

 

Entertainment Property of the Year – Animated

  • Mickey Mouse, 90th Anniversary – The Walt Disney Company

 

Location-Based or Experiential Initiative of the Year

  • Miffy Meets Kumoya – Mercis BV/Bakemono

 

Digital Property of the Year

  • Kakao Friends – Kakao Corporation

 

Entertainment Property of the Year – Live Action

  • Avengers: Infinity War – The Walt Disney Company

 

Licensee of the Year – Apparel & Accessory

  • Li Ning for Mickey Mouse, 90th Anniversary

 

Licensee of the Year – Toy

  • Mattel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

 

Licensee of the Year – Houseware

  • A.S. Watsons Group, Miffy

 

Retailer of the Year

  • Watsons for B.Duck

 

Corporate Brand/Lifestyle Property of the Year

  • Mickey Mouse, 90th Anniversary – The Walt Disney Company
