Sportswear brand ventures into cosmetics with new 12-piece collaboration.
Puma is making the move into cosmetics, teaming up with Maybelline New York for a 12-piece collection.
The new collaboration will launch in February and will include products such as smudge proof mascara, metallic highlighter, long lasting lipsticks, metallic and matte eye sticks and gloss face sticks.
Supermodel Adriana Lima – who is a spokesperson for Maybelline and a Puma ambassador – will be the face of the campaign.
Adam Petrick, global director of brand and marketing at Puma, commented: “This collection is truly the representation of the point where the gym meets the runway; a goal we strive for in everything we do for our female consumers.”
Trisha Ayyagari, deputy general manager of Maybelline New York, said in a statement: “Our young consumer today prioritises an active lifestyle whether it be career, fitness or personally. She’s always on the go, never settles and needs high performance products that keep up with her grind. The PUMA x Maybelline Collection was created to do just that.”
