Natural History Museum-inspired homeware on way

Wallpaper, fabric and cushions range will launch from Divine Savages.

The Natural History Museum has partnered with London design house Divine Savages to create a new range of Natural History Museum-inspired homeware.

The range includes wallpaper, fabric and cushions – all of which will be designed using imagery inspired by the Natural History Museum’s vast array of specimens and original illustrations and paintings that span centuries of natural history exploration.

Launched in October 2017, Divine Savages has become synonymous with bold, daring design, with its collections reflecting a passion for unique, colourful prints – with a flourish of both the divine and the savage.

“We’ve always been inspired by the wonder of nature, with many of our iconic patterns and prints featuring elements from the natural world,” said Tom Kennedy, co-founder of Divine Savages. “We’re very excited to be able to take this to the next level for our latest collection, joining forces with the Natural History Museum to create wallpapers, fabrics and cushions that dare to stand out as nature intended.”

Maxine Lister, head of licensing at Natural History Museum, added: “We’re looking forward enormously to expanding our offering within the homeware categories – and what better place to start than a design house synonymous with stunning wallpapers and fabrics.

“We’re very excited to be working with Divine Savages.”
