Russell Athletic to launch childrenswear apparel in EMEA

Sports and casualwear brand secures new partnership with Brand Machine Group.

Sports and casualwear brand Russell Athletic is teaming up with Brand Machine Group to move into the children’s apparel space.

Brand Machine Group will launch a full collection of childrenswear apparel and accessories across the EMEA region from September.

It will aim to build on the heritage of the Russell Athletic brand, creating an authentic lifestyle range appealing to 0-15 year olds.

The collection includes athleisure tees, sweats and accessories, as well as an exclusive Eagle R range for top tier retailers.

“We are very pleased to work with a well recognised company which has specialised in children’s wear apparel within Europe,” said Claude Troisfontaine, ceo of Future Brand’s European division, the master licensee of the Russell Athletic property. “We will endeavour to harness our complementary strengths to build a mutually beneficial business.”

Boo Jalil, ceo of Brand Machine Group, added: “We are very proud to be chosen as a partner to launch Russell Athletic children’s wear. BMG has years of experience in the sports athletic industry supported by its handpicked design team and product specialists who will portray the authentic heritage of this great brand.”
