Spring Fair readies celeb appearances

Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain and Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen among stars heading to the NEC.

Spring Fair is getting ready to open its doors on Sunday February 7, revealing some of the star appearances, events and seminars which will be taking place throughout the show.

From a licensing point of view, a big draw should be the appearance of the winner of Great British Bake Off – Nadiya Hussain – on Monday February 8.

Nadiya will be helping to promote the new gift range from Wow Stuff, as well as signing copies of The Bake Off Book: Celebrations.

Wow Stuff ceo Richard North said: “We are really thrilled Nadiya is joining us at Spring Fair.

“We have worked closely with Love Productions, creators and owners of The Great British Bake Off, to produce a giftware range in time for this season’s show that taps into the heart of the brand reflecting its warmth and broad appeal.”

Elsewhere, Anna Rigby, head of buying, home accessories, gifts and seasonal at John Lewis, will be discussing what a big omni channel retailer looks for in the gift market in the Ecommerce theatre on Tuesday February 9.

Carte Blanche will be throwing a 21st birthday party for Me to You on Sunday February 7, while licensee Widdop & Co will be unveiling its new look.

Sophie Conran and Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen will be appearing for giftware and cutlery specialist Arthur Price, while dancer, model and fashion blogger Danielle Peazar will be launching the new Per Scent at the show.

A Paul Hollywood demonstration for Kitchen Craft is also to be confirmed.
