Luxury brand Amiri rocks out with Mötley Crüe

LA-based brand reveals collection inspired by the iconic Sunset Strip in Los Angeles.

LA-based luxury brand Amiri has launched its pre-collection range which features a collaboration with notorious rock band, Mötley Crüe.

In a deal brokered by the band’s merchandising partner – Global Merchandising Services – the pre-spring collection was inspired by the iconic Sunset Strip in Los Angeles and its infamous history of excess. However, no homage to Sunset would be complete without referencing the band synonymous with its history.

The collection includes a range of t-shirts, hats and sweatshirts, utilising the band’s fifth studio album – Dr. Feelgood – which was released in 1989. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the album and its flight to number one on the Billboard 200.

Mötley Crüe has sold 100 million albums globally, including 25 million albums in the US, making it one of the best selling bands of all time.

In March this year, Netflix released The Dirt, a movie based on the band’s best selling autobiography. It tells an unflinching tale of success of four misfits rising from the streets of Hollywood to the heights of international fame and has been an enormous success since launching globally.
