Nickelodeon inks multi-year deal with BrickStix

Reusable stickers for construction blocks are brainchild of 16 year old US inventor.

Nickelodeon has become the first major licensor to secure a deal with reusable sticker company, BrickStix.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and SpongeBob Squarepants designs join the BrickStix line, which is brainchild of 16 year old Greyson MacLean, who came up with the idea when he was just nine.

BrickStix are patented reusable stickers for plastic construction bricks.

The Nickelodeon designs have been on display at the recent New York Toy Fair, and will hit retail from spring.

“Partnering with Nickelodeon is a dream come true. I can’t wait for kids to see what we have created and have the chance to use their imagination to tell their own SpongeBob SquarePants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stories,” said Greyson.

“I have a feeling kids and parents will be playing together. These are shows parents have watched with their kids for years. Who wouldn’t want to make up some adventures of their own?”

Children can use the stickers to bring SpongeBob’s house to life or replicate the Turtles’ lair, among other scenarios.
