Don’t forget your tickets to The Light Fund Southern Quiz Night

The first in-person event in aid of The Light Fund has been dated, with the popular Southern Quiz Night due to take place in October.

The quiz – which was the first ever standalone fundraiser for the industry charity – will take place on Thursday 14 October in the Thomas Lord Suite at Lord’s cricket ground.

Tickets are £65 (+VAT) per person, with teams able to be made up of between four and eight people.

The bar will be open from 6pm, with the quiz due to start at 7.30pm and ending at approximately 10.30pm.

“We are so excited to be able to hold our first Light Fund ‘live’ event for two years,” enthused Trevor Jones, chairman of The Light Fund. “The Southern Light Fund quiz was our first ever standalone fundraiser for The Light Fund and became a ‘must go to’ event in the licensing calendar, attracting over 300 attendees.

“So we can’t wait to restart the fundraising with the quiz at the Thomas Lord Suite at Lord’s Cricket Ground. It’s always a fun night and it will be great to see our supporters, bringing the licensing community back together for such a great cause.”

Trevor continued: “Who knows which team will be wearing the infamous ‘Pants of Doom’ at the end of the night, or who will be crowned the Licensing Clever Clogs of 2021?”
