Dreamtex bags Miraculous as popularity grows

Licensee to create range of home textiles for new super hero animation.

Dreamtex is to create a new range of home textiles for fast growing super hero animation, Miraculous – Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.

The series – which focuses on the everyday lives of unexpected super heroes Marinette and Adrien, two normal teens living in Paris who have been chosen to secretly save those around them from the evil Hawk Moth – has rated number one on the Disney Channel.

Dreamtex has secured the deal with Bulldog Licensing and will produce bedding, blankets, towels, cushions and other accessories.

Dreamtex will also partner with Skybrands for Nordics and Germany.

Jo Duckworth, director at Dreamtex, explained: “We are having a lot of fun working on the Miraculous collection.

“The striking artwork translates brilliantly on to our products and the key brand themes of girl empowerment, fashion, friendship and Paris ambience are very appealing.”

Vicky Hill, licensing director at Bulldog, added: “Excitement around Miraculous is really building – fans are loving the adventures of Ladybug and Cat Noir which is reflected in the huge viewing figures we are seeing on Disney Channel.

“We are delighted to be welcoming Dreamtex to the licensing programme – the range looks fantastic and is sure to be a hit with our everygirl superhero fans.”
