Licensing Expo expands Global Partners initiative

Programme now includes over 75 companies exhibiting in Vegas and at BLE.

Licensing Expo has continued to build on its Global Partners programme, with over 75 companies now involved with the initiative.

The programme began in 2009 and supports exhibitors who exhibit at both Licensing Expo and Brand Licensing Europe.

Benefits include Virtual Press Office listings, special promotions via email and in the Show Directory and coverage in the show’s trade titles.

Jessica Blue, svp, licensing, UBM said: “Since the inception of the Global Partner programme in 2009, we have worked to assist our partnering brands around the world. We have now grown the programme to include more than 75 companies that exhibit at Licensing Expo and Brand Licensing Europe.

“I would like to thank all of our Global Partners for their support over the last seven years.”

Global Partners include the likes of Activision, BBC Worldwide, Beanstalk, Cartoon Network, Discovery, Mattel, Nickelodeon, NBC Universal, Saban Brands, Sony Pictures Consumer Products, Ubisoft and WWE among others.

Simon Waters, general manager and svp, entertainment and licensing at Hasbro, commented: “Participating in the Global Partner program provides us with the opportunity to showcase the strength of Hasbro’s global teams and the power of our brand blueprint.

“Following Hasbro Consumer Products’ record performance in 2015, we look forward to exhibiting our beloved brands at this year’s Licensing Expo and Brand Licensing Europe as we continue to innovate and expand our products and experiential offerings.”

This year’s Licensing Expo takes place from June 21-23 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas.
