Winner from shortlist of six will be announced at The Licensing Awards in September.
The six nominees for this year’s LIMA UK Rising Star Award have been revealed.
LIMA UK md Kelvyn Gardner said that the increase of nominations this year underlines that there is a “great deal of rising talent” in licensing.
The nominees for the LIMA UK Rising Star Award 2017 are:
- Grace Pantony, licensing director, Marshall Amplifiers
- Hannah Stevens, retail and brand manager, CPLG
- Katie Ball, retail partnerships manager, BBC Worldwide
- Charlotte Boyce, European campaign manager, Nickelodeon
- Omar Khan, licensing and special projects manager, Forbidden Planet
- Sophie Yates, licensing coordinator, Bulldog Licensing
“In this second year of our expanded LIMA UK Rising Star Award, we’ve seen a solid increase in submissions, and in the quality of the submission documents,” Kelvyn Gardner, LIMA UK md told The Source.
“It’s clear we have a great deal of rising talent in licensing, and the male/female split continues to demonstrate what an equal opportunities business we are in.
“Choosing our six nominees was a tough and exacting process, but we congratulate all of them for reaching this final cohort of young licensing excellence, from whom our overall LIMA UK Rising Star will be selected.”
The winner of the LIMA UK Rising Award 2017 will be named at The UK Licensing Awards on Tuesday September 12.
