My Icon Story roars with Natural History Museum

New product range has been inspired by iconic dinosaurs and natural sciences practiced at museum.

My Icon Story is teaming up with the Natural History Museum for its latest licensed collaboration.

The new product range – available from this month – has been inspired by the museum’s iconic dinosaurs, as well as the natural sciences practiced there.

The collection includes dinosaur gifts – such as customised prints featuring different species and individual wooden letter blocks – and fun science-themed posters, which can be personalised with names and ages. Each poster features simple icons that tell the story of what it takes to become a palaeontologist, entomologist and marine biologist among other roles.

“We believe there is an icon story in all of us,” began Laura Lane, the company’s founder. “For children visiting the Natural History Museum, it’s the story of their trip, favourite discoveries and memorable experience, offering a unique way for children to capture the magic of their museum visit.”

Maxine Lister, head of licensing at the Natural History Museum, added: “Working with My Icon Story has been a fantastic opportunity for us. We are delighted to be able to offer such a fantastic collection of inspirational prints for children who have a love of dinosaurs, the natural world and our Museum.

“We hope these fun, personalised graphics encourage children to take an interest in science – and perhaps even inspire future scientists.”
