The Source rounds up more news from the licensing industry across the globe from the week.

eOne and Hunter have partnered for a limited edition collection of footwear and accessories for children, which really celebrates the joy of jumping in muddy puddles. Launching in a year full of Peppa Pig celebrations, the camo designs will feature Peppa and her brother George across a range of rain boots, backpacks and umbrellas in three different colourways. The collection – which includes the new Kids Grab Handle Wellington boots – is aimed at ages 2-5 and will be available in the UK, US, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Scandinavia, France and Italy from July.

Endemol Shine Group has revealed the first phase of licensees for Peaky Blinders. Michael O’Mara Books, Bravado, Corsair, GB eye, Danilo and BB Designs are all on board.

Royal Mail has revealed the images of the Marvel Super Hero stamps issued to mark the UK’s celebration of the company’s iconic comic stories. 10 stamps feature Spider-Man, Thor, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Peggy Carter, Black Panther, Captain Britain and Union Jack. A further five stamps are part of an exclusive short comic strip story contained in a miniature sheet.

Silvergate Media has signed GUND as the first licensing partner for its new Netflix animated adventure TV series, Hilda. The company will develop a line of plush, accessories and giftware for the series, which launched on the streaming service last September. The range will hit shelves in the US in early 2020, before rolling out to additional markets.

Jazwares has confirmed a strategic partnership with Iberian distributor, Toy Partner. The new deal will secure placement at retail complete with branded statements to build Jazwares’ presence in the region.

Meanwhile, Merchantwise Licensing has secured a deal with Personalised Plates Queensland so that emoji fans can add the brand to their number plates. The PPQ emoji brand number plate range features five of the most popular designs (smiley face, heart eyes, sunglasses face, laugh out loud and winking face) and gives consumers the chance to mix three letters and two numbers on standard and slimline sizes on a white on black design, with their choice of emoji character.
