Rubber Road builds its portfolio with new Minecraft deal

Rubber Road is continuing to expand its gaming portfolio, securing a deal with Minecraft to design, manufacture and distribute a range of new merchandise this year.

The deal sees a range of products which include the popular TUBBZ cosplaying rubber duck collectables, gaming lockers, storage chairs and, for Christmas, Countdown Characters, a quirky twist on advent calendars where you build a figurine that you can display and keep.

“Minecraft is the biggest selling game of all time and is a very welcome addition to our line-up,” commented Liam Taylor, head of partnerships and development at Rubber Road. “The timing is spot on as Minecraft celebrates its 15th anniversary next year, so we look forward to bringing out some fantastic merch to mark the occasion.”

Other gaming brands in Rubber Road’s stable include Sonic the Hedgehog, Resident Evil, Destiny, The Last of Us, Metal Gear Solid, Fallout and Tomb Raider.
