Vespa rides into fashion with new footwear

BREX launches exclusive collection of footwear following deal with Global Icons.

A new exclusive collection of footwear for the Vespa brand has hit retail from BREX.

The launch follows on from a deal struck earlier this year by Global Icons, which acts as Piaggio’s exclusive global licensing agent.

The autumn/winter collection is initially available in retailers in London, Paris, Milan, Barcelona and Prague, before extending globally.

David Williams, general manager at Global Icons Europe, commented: “Global Icons are proud to be working with Vespa on this journey to build a successful lifestyle programme, with quality, iconic products, and BREX’s participation is a big step towards that goal.

“We are very pleased to be working with BREX, an industry leader, to help create a range of quality and iconic products, depicting Vespa’s brand heritage and Italian essence.

“The collection looks great and encapsulates Vespa’s values of elegance, culture, iconicity, boldness and stylish creativity, in the perfect way.”

Davide Zanolini, evp worldwide marketing and communication at Piaggio, added: “We believe that the Vespa footwear range developed by BREX truly interprets the core values of brand: spontaneity, happiness and style.”
