Hasbro readies key brands for Comic-Con

Giveaways, exclusives, photo opps plus My Little Pony movie poster reveal all planned.

Hasbro is getting ready to showcase its key entertainment brands at San Diego Comic-Con, with its raft of activities including a first look at the poster for the hotly tipped My Little Pony: The Movie.

Hasbro brands including Transformers, Hanazuki, Wizards of the Coast and My Little Pony among others will star alongside the company’s partner brands. These will include Disney’s Tangled The Series, DreamWorks’ Trolls and Beyblade.

Special collector’s items will be available for fans to purchase, while there will also be autograph signings, giveaways, exclusives and photo opportunities.

Highlights across the event – which takes place from July 20-23 – will include a Transformers panel with collectors getting an exclusive glimpse at the latest toys from Transformers: Generations Power of the Primes. They will also be able to go behind the scenes of the Transformers: The Last Knight film line, as well as the movie Masterpiece Collection.

Members of the Transformers team will also be hosting a Q&A session.

Special activities will also take place around the My Little Pony brand. An eight foot tall statue of Songbird Serenade – voiced by Sia in the new movie – will premiere on the booth, while fans can dive into Seaquestria with a one of a kind photo opportunity or get ‘Ponified’ at special ‘Ponification Stations’.

As well as the poster reveal (pictured), there will be a special panel including a sneak peek at the upcoming film followed by a Q&A.

Meanwhile, Hasbro will be offering fans several brand experiences surrounding the super heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe.

It will also be sharing its latest Star Wars news, providing a look at its new action figures and a special product reveal. Fans can also take part in daily lightsaber training on the Hasbro booth.
