Liam Gallagher’s Pretty Green teases Jimi Hendrix line

Autumn/winter apparel collection celebrates 50 years since musician shot to fame in London.

The menswear fashion and lifestyle brand established by former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has launched a new collection in honour of Jimi Hendrix.

Pretty Green has worked with the late star’s estate, and his sister Janie in particular, on the autumn/winter capsule collection.

The range features Jimi’s silhouette on a badge motif on the outerwear, with it also appearing on the inner lining.

Items in the collection include a military overcoat with bespoke branded buttons, an all over patterned blazer, a pair of dogtooth-printed trousers, shirts, t-shirts, iPhone cases and badges.

All items in the range also feature Jimi’s signature, plus an authentic Hendrix trademark.

Liam Gallagher commented: “Jimi Hendrix is an absolute force of nature. As well as him being the best guitarist ever, he’s also one of the greatest songwriters; his lyrics and his voice are equally as good and his look is as out-there as his music.”

Janie added: “Pretty Green has a strong rock and roll heritage, so they were the ideal partner to create a collection that embodies Jimi’s style for a new generation.

“These pieces have an incredible authenticity about them and we are very proud of what has been achieved. We’re thrilled to make them available to the true Hendrix enthusiasts.”
