New cinema experience adds licensed names

Little Screen targets 3-6 year olds with a monthly interactive cinema experience.

New interactive cinema experience, Little Screen, will be welcoming a number of licensed names to its November shows.

Created by Pinewood Live, Little Screen is billed as a first of its kind cinema event to entertain and educate the whole family.

Aimed at three to six year olds, it launched in cinemas nationwide on October 22-23.

Little Screen will feature two showings across one weekend each month. The November listings – taking place on November 19-20 – include Masha and the Bear, Lily’s Driftwood Bay, Miffy’s Adventures, Octonauts and PAW Patrol.

Pui Fan Lee – who portrayed Po in the original Teletubbies and is now a favourite on CBeebies’ Show Me Show Me – is part of the creative team behind Little Screen.

She commented: “Little Screen is the perfect place to bring little ones to enjoy the magic of the Big Screen; the great variety of little features and all the funny bits in-between are carefully chosen to keep everyone happy, grown ups too.”

Each showing consists of five episodes from the different programmes, with the host – Marty – encouraging audience participation inspired from the content.
