FatFace to launch exclusive Zog clothing line

Deal with Magic Light Pictures comes ahead of Zog Christmas premiere on BBC1.

Magic Light Pictures is partnering with FatFace for the launch of an exclusive range of Zog clothing.

The launch will act as a precursor to the premiere of Zog on BBC One this Christmas.

The range features pyjamas, slippers and a onesie, plus t-shirts and novelty hat, gloves and scarf set for outerwear. Alongside the apparel lines, FatFace will also be stocking the new Zog plush from Aurora and the book, published by Scholastic.

The deal was brokered by CAA-GBG.

“Licensing this exclusive range with FatFace has been such a privilege for our brand,” said Daryl Shute, brand director at Magic Light Pictures. “Quality is at the heart of everything they do and I think that it’s really shone through in their design and execution of these fabulous apparel lines for Zog.

“We’re hoping that this will be the start of a great long-term partnership.”

Clare Probyn from the retail marketing team at FatFace, added: “We are excited and privileged to be working in partnership with Magic Light Pictures and bringing to life (and children) the character Zog, created by the very talented Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.”

The launch will be supported by POS, shop window marketing in FatFace’s high street stores and a social media campaign.
