Tesco and Asda unveil Nerf Nation apparel lines

Hasbro teams with retailers as popular franchise continues to expand beyond toy aisle.

Hasbro has unveiled a new apparel line for its NERF franchise.

The new NERF Nation apparel ranges are available exclusively at F&F at Tesco and George at Asda and include t-shirts, joggers and sweats.

The ranges will be supported with in-store POS displays and a fun marketing campaign including social media and digital content across both Hasbro and the retailers’ digital and social channels.

The launch further extends the NERF brand outside of the toy aisle, continuing its evolution into a lifestyle brand.

“Hasbro is proud to unveil our new NERF Nation apparel offering to the market,” said Sally Carnota, director, UK and EMEA retail development at Hasbro Consumer Products. “With its incredible heritage, the NERF brand has built a passionate and engaged audience of active fans and we are thrilled to offer them cool apparel range they can wear to demonstrate the power of NERF Nation.”

Melinda Harris, buying director for F&F Clothing UK & Europe, added: “This will be a key moment for F&F and we have worked closely with Hasbro and Smith & Brooks to create a fashion forward NERF range covering key fashion shapes that includes a special dart feature. The NERF brand is already established at Tesco and we hope that our customer is going to love the clothing range.”

Hayley Hartwell, senior buying manager for boyswear & kids essentials, George at Asda, continued: “The team at Asda is excited to be working with Hasbro to launch the NERF apparel range this September and offer our customer something fresh and exciting that’s different from what they’ve seen in market.

“The NERF brand’s evolution from a toy brand to a broader lifestyle brand is an exciting opportunity and we’re delighted to be on that journey with Hasbro.”
